I got flooded with calls, but no one was able to beat them on price, and their representative Sonya was helpful, but didn’t try to upsell or play games with the charges. I did some homework, and ended up booking with Sonya the next day. On move day, I had to add a wardrobe last minute. I had to change the inventory with the driver, which wasn’t such a problem, I just wished I had remembered to update earlier so I could know how much additional the cost would be. The guys that came over were pretty quiet and I don’t think most of them spoke English that well, but they did the job just right. Everything was packed, crated and perfectly placed in the truck. Having moved before, I was impressed to see how quickly they worked and how everything was done professionally. My wife was worried about some of her fragile items, but even she couldn’t complain about the way they handled her glassware and mirrors and pictures, everything was done with great care. We were very pleased to see everything arrived safely as well, and on time. The dispatch kept us updated at all times and delivered the following weekend. Over all, the guys that worked on our move were very professional and took care of our items as if they were their own. Very pleased with the company.
I am so impressed by how well Eco Vanlines was able to mobilize for my move. I had a good feeling when I spoke to my consultant Maya, and got a lot of good advice from her as to how to prepare for my move. She basically walked me through all the potential pratfalls, specifically, having extra furniture or flights of stairs, and gave me a guaranteed price. I know that prices for gas can be unpredictable, so it was good to lock in one price. I can’t speak for others, but my price stayed the same as what I was quoted. The move went very smoothly, and I got my delivery around the middle of the expected delivery dates. Not much to complain about, considering the deal that I got, and the straightforward attitude. I am very impressed by the level of service provided by the movers at Eco-Vanlines. I worked together with Rachel on an inventory, and she knew how to ask questions to figure out exactly what I needed to move and what I didn’t need. My moving crew was just great, sweet guys. I moved cross country with Eco Vanlines because of their great reviews. I have to say that they lived up to my expectations. The crew was professional, courteous and honest. I could see that the crew works very hard. The arrived first thing in the morning, and the foreman told me that they had worked overtime the previous day. Still, no complaints and a lot of heavy lifting! I had considered renting a truck, but when I saw how hard they worked, there’s no way I could sucker my friends into hauling my furniture down my stairs. It actually ended up to be comparable in price to renting a truck, but with none of the sweat and tears.
Overall, my move went quite well with Eco Vanlines. The inventory process went well enough, and my representative was extremely responsive and noticed inconsistencies that reps from other companies neglected to mention. I felt really confident going with Eco because they had been so straightforward. I was a little irked on move day because the driver was an hour late. From the get go, I felt like I was dealing with a different company when I spoke to Eco Vanlines’ representative, Susanna. She has her act together, and I was really happy to be able to speak to someone who could answer my questions honestly. I didn’t need everything shipped right away, but I wanted to know that I was putting my belongings with a company that I could trust to bring my stuff without problems. I also took advantage of the free storage that they provided, which was totally a Godsend when I realized I wasn’t ready with my new home in California. It wasn’t a hassle to let them know that I needed to keep my stuff for longer.
